Written by Yax - Published on December 19, 2007

I read somewhere - can’t remember where - that someone was starting a game in which all the players are halflings.  I like this idea because it will probably get long time players out of their comfort zone and give a unique vibe to the game.

Rewarding players with XP

A lot of people chimed in on the recent article about real-time based leveling instead of XP based leveling.
Rewarding players with XP
I’d like to know if anyone uses some kind of reward system for players who are performing better than expected, or better than others.

Leveling up once a year

Famous D&D last words
Heard just before a character died:

Are you sure you want to do that?
I want to ride the dragon turtle!
What exactly do you mean when you say “save or die”?
I thought all city guards were incompetent!
You don’t have the weapon proficiency to use that vorpal sword.
Wait. That’s not a healing potion!
I’ll try [...]
