D&D Monday morning speedlinking
DNDMMSL 03-31-08
It’s Monday morning and you just got to work? Your facial muscles don’t seem to be working? Don’t let your coworkers see you with absolutely no facial expression! Check out these links to kill some time:
The links
- There’s an interesting discussion about mass combat rules on Shamus Young’s Twenty-Sided blog.
- Also spotted on Twenty-Sided is an article on campaign logs and blogs. Shamus mentions the Literatrix as good campaign blog.
- Check out Obsidian Portal for lots of campaign logs. You can rate them and see the most popular ones too.
- I wrote about Geek’s Dream Girl last week. She now has new digs. Check out her new and improved website: Geek’s Dream Girl
- Monte Cook has some advice on running a Ptolus campaign. He’s the author of the awesome Ptolus: City by the Spire setting. If you’re going to buy this book, I would suggest buying the PDF, you’ll save yourself some heavy lifting and one forest too (672 pages!)
- Kane’s Mind is a blog on various gaming and non-gaming topics. Kane’s Mind’s logo is a huge d20 – it has to be interesting!
- A quick plug to my 2 favorite RPG blogs:
- Some of these webcomics are well-known, but I’ll link to them anyway just in case: Chainmail Bikini just keeps getting better. The Geeks Next Door just keep rocking.
That’s it for this week. This should keep you busy for an hour or two.

You’re going to charge me rent for these speed links soon I can feel it!
By the wa, great work on the DM tip article… 159 comments, I’m almost jealous…. Maybe that Ennie award nomination won’t be all that easy after all… :)
Don’t worry about rent. It will be affordable!
Did you send your papers for the Ennie nomination yet?
thanks for the speed link shout’out Yax!
You are more than welcome, Kane! I was on a nasty caffeine rush when I wrote this week’s DNDMMSL. I hardly saw the time pass while I was doing it.
