D&D Monday morning speedlinking

Written by Expy - Published on October 15, 2007

DNDMMSL 10-15-07

It’s Monday and you just sleepwalked or sleepdrove to work.  Now what?  Well, here are a few items of interests that will hopefully keep you occupied until you start doing actual work.

  • I stumbled upon a website about RPG theory, RPG design, and gaming called Aleph Gaming.  A few days later I got an e-mail from the guy who runs the blog so I figured it was a sign of destiny – I had to mention along with my other Monday morning goodies.  On that website you’ll find a complimentary article on that article about the rules compendium I wrote.
  • Wednesday Knights is a blog about gaming.  Check out the links in this article about an anti-D&D tract.
  • How to start a revolution in 21 days is another great gaming blog.  I really enjoyed the articles on that one but my corneas fell off because of the color scheme.  Take a deep breath, squint, and check it out!

Have fun at work!

Meet Expy The Red Dragon

Expy is the mascot for DungeonMastering.com and the real mastermind behind Expy Games. He likes to hoard treasure, terrorize neighbors, burn down villages, and tell white dragon jokes..

No matter how fearful the legends claim dragons are, they always end up being defeated in 5 rounds by adventuring parties they encounter. That’s what dragons are – experience points for the heroes in your Dungeons & Dragon party. And this mascot is no different, hence the name Expy.

I wasn’t wasting enough time on gaming websites! Now that I added a few sites to my bookmarks I feel much better. Thanks. :p

Cool. Thanks for the shout out. Always happy to hear that I’m helping people procrastinate.
