D&D Monday Morning Speedlinking
Written by Yax - Published on August 11, 2008

DNDMMSL August 11, 2008

It’s Monday morning and you’re wondering how evolution brought man from huddling in tiny caverns to huddling in tiny cubicles? I know how it feels. Until you get over the Monday morning blues, check out them links!

The links

  • Obsidian Portal - you might remember them from my article on powering up your campaign through a wiki - They are now giving away prizes for the Featured Campaign that appears on the homepage. They’re going to select a new campaign every 2-4 weeks. To be eligible, all anyone needs to do is have a great campaign.
  • Atomic Array is a cool podcast and they’re giving away prizes. All you have to do to be elligible to win cold hard cash is digg their podcast - easy money.
  • The GM Foundation is a website “where good GMs become legendary.” They’re home to a podcast - although it seems to be on hiatus you can still access previously recorded episodes - and forums too.
  • AvatarArt. In early July they revamped their whole website. They sent me a blogiversary present. They just keep on rockin’!
  • D&D4E Druid - Download the Druid class pdf file from EN World’s forums. Thanks to Jordan for sending me the link.
  • Walt from GnomeStew.com wrote a short article on the GM Avatar - the GM playing a character in the campaign - and it spurred a lot of comments. Personally I’m against that kind of behavior.
  • The Chatty DM keeps on chatting! Check out his series on RPG blogging:

That’s it for this week! Have fun gaming!

    Thanks for the linkage, Yax!

The hiatus will be over later this month or early September. We’ve got a series that follows the work a GM does from session to session over an entire adventure.
