I’ve been told a couple of times that we don’t give enough 3.x love around here.
You know what? It’s true.
I’ll try to do a little 3.x, or at least more system-less stuff. And, um, well, let’s 3.x some love right now – leave your best D&D3.x pickup lines in the comments! The best pickup line wins 2 sets of dice! I’ll go first:
- “Do you have the ride skill?” or “Let’s do it slow and take 20!”

Gnome Stew gets a new look!
The gnomes have been hard at work! The ever-useful game master blog Gnome Stew has a brand new look! Watch out – it is sizzling hot – they kept the clean, easy-to-navigate elements of the old design and made everything better.
Also, the gnome are very close to 2,000 daily RSS readers, so when you go their site make sure you subscribe to the Gnome Stew RSS feed. I personally choose the email subscription and get articles from them in my inbox almost every day – I’m a big fan.
Campaign Mastery milestone
I was talking to Johnn Four yesterday. Johnn is THE authority in GMing thanks to his weekly Roleplaying Tips newsletter that has been delivered since 1999. He also runs the Campaign Mastery Blog. I don’t believe Johnn advertises his RSS subscriber numbers but he told me he got to 1,000, which is incredible since the website has only been up for 6 months!
So… What I want to say is that I’m a fan of Campaign Mastery and the site offers to RSS email subscription (right on their homepage).

There are certain spells that might be useful if the pick-up line actually work:
- Mage Hand
