@VtM: I was a hardcore horde player because I started doing alliance when I came back to WoW because it had so much I hadn’t seen. If the horde players are more mature in PUGS, I shudder to think what the alliance is like. I have some horde dungeon horror stories. I made the Forsaken comparison last time I talked about Revenants, that was the “ripped off Blizzard” comment.

Up to 6? The ‘charm,’ as it were, of my original group is that there were 10 of us. It just wouldn’t be the same with the mage off playing chess with the fighter while other people took their turns in combat.

Hmm, can’t do Ally…too attached to my Horde toons, plus, imho, Horde players (generally, but not always) seem marginally more mature/helpful/less-idiotic in PUGs and BGs…YMMV.

Wish was still in contact with my best D&D group, sadly I only kept in touch with one of the eight original players, and even there it’s been a while. Bummer.

Revenants? The Crow? Why not just the more obvious D&D 4e trend of MMO “influenced” creations. Revenants = (Prettier-looking) Forsaken, no?

The Wizards contest looks amazing! Is it sad that I don’t know first and last name of everyone that was in my first D&D party? It was freshman year of college and everyone in our local geek club had nicknames, so we knew each other that way. And honestly, I’m not totally sure how much I’d want to spend time with them anyway – the gaming was good but the interpersonal relationships were somewhat awkward. I know at least one of them has left the state in the years since, and another really drifted away from RPGs.
