I knew spending every waking hour with that book would help! I even sleep with it under my pillow, hoping to absorb the knowledge by Myosis.

  6. dragonfett says:

Dice Monkey, that would be osmosis, not myosis. I don’t think myosis is even a real word.

  7. Reverend Mike says:

    WEE! 148%

    Best score I’ve ever had…

  8. sturtus says:

Thanks for including all the oldies in the quiz. I’ve only skimmed the magic items in PHB and AV.

    Your score: 118%

    Your A.I. modifier +5

    YOUR FINAL SCORE:123%

Holy Flaming Sword +6! You know everything about magic items. There’s a lot of people out there who wish they knew as much as you do about magic items. Like 6 of them.

  9. Janna says:

@ dragonfett: Myosis (noun) – Constriction of the pupil of the eye, resulting from a normal response to an increase in light or caused by certain drugs or pathological conditions. (dictionary.com)

So it’s a real word. But osmosis is probably an easier way to absorb knowledge. ;)

You’re all rocking the quiz. Good job!

  10. Sandrinnad says:

    88+8=96

hey, not bad for not having read 4e :)

one thing – the answer displayed for question 10 is ‘more powerful, diminishes’….which I’m fairly sure aren’t alignments yet…. :)

  11. LoneWolf says:

I haven’t even seen 4th Ed (and don’t care if I do) but this quiz was pretty easy. I will stay with the older editions though. And what Sandrinnad said about those “alignments”, it must be something new…but who knows.

    Your score: 93%

    Your A.I. modifier +12

    YOUR FINAL SCORE:105%

No way!! You know almost everything about magic items! Hours of not being social and reading magic item descriptions is finally paying off!

  12. Yax says:

Oops! Question 10 answer is ‘good, evil’. I corrected the mistake.

  13. Conlaen says:

    Your score: 108%

    Your A.I. modifier +36

    YOUR FINAL SCORE:144%

    My best score so far!

  14. Yax says:

Hurray for high scores! Enjoy while it lasts… :P

  15. Saragon says:

    YOUR FINAL SCORE:148%

Honestly not terribly fair – I just spent last night trying to convert a bunch of 3.5E Eberron items to 4E and still had most of that in my head.

  16. Russell says:

    Your score: 108%

    Your A.I. modifier +31

    YOUR FINAL SCORE:139%

Holy Flaming Sword +6! You know everything about magic items. There’s a lot of people out there who wish they knew as much as you do about magic items. Like 6 of them.

And I don’t even play 4e aka the GDMMO.

  17. Elder God of Doom(-i-ness) says:

osmosis is transition of water (just cause i can be picky LOL) and here i was thinking myosis is the creation of new cells by the old one dividing

    Learn something new every day

    133% yay for me
