D&D Sunday Morning Quiz: Monsters, Monsters Everywhere!
DNDSMQ January 4, 2009 : D&D Sunday Morning Quiz – The Planes
Ah, monsters. You gotta love ‘em. The final installment (for now) in our Monster Quiz series covers all kinds of creepy critters from the 4th Edition Monster Manual. (But you’ll find them in other editions, too.) Good luck on the quiz!
NOTE: Some email clients and RSS readers can’t submit your answers to our website. You can go to Dungeon Mastering to take the quiz.

I still think that my answer for Question 10 should have got more points “Dragon, bitch to kill”
Hooray for the return of Sunday morning quiz!

Okay.. So I know D&D monsters better than I know what is going on in the real world….
Neat quiz.
Cool quiz. I scored better than I thought I would.
I’ve been a DM for about 20 years and I recently picked up almost all the 4th edition books. I’m currently reading the 4th Edition Manual of the Planes which helped with the giant question :)

Geese, I’m not sure if I should be proud or ashamed ;P
Nice Quiz by the way.
Yay Cthulhu!
I one time had my players hunting after a Black Dragon/Bone Dragon. The one PC who could read was little ~special~ and after he read the sheriff’s description of the mighty black beast with ribs of white he told the rest of the party they were after a zebra. So they brought everything they needed with them to kill a zebra.
The DM won that game, and Dead Dragons are the mosterest fun to play.
@Chris:
Very funny. I like it.

Impressive! You know almost everything about monsters. May I remind you that hanging out with other human beings can be as fun as reading the monster manual?
I do hang out with humans, sometimes, when my wife takes my books away . . . lol!
@ Andrew: In the role-playing world, pride and shame walk hand in hand. ;)
@ Nathanial: Nothing’s as fun as reading the Monster Manual. Especially when you have a few drinks and start making up captions for the monsters….
Grats to all the high scorers!

Holy Githyanki! How many times have you read the Monster Manual?

w00t. Actually, I read the lore aloud to my wife as sort of a bedtime story. She picks the page numbers.
I would’ve gotten a perfect score, but I spelled dracolich with a hyphen :(
