D&D Sunday morning quiz: PHB trivia!
DNDSMQ 03-09-08
This week’s quiz should be a lot of fun. I don’t think it’s too tough although 5 correct answers are required to score the 20 points on the impossible question. Good Luck!
Edit: I corrected 2 answers
All the answers are taken from the 3.5 core rulebooks. I’m a not responsible if you choose a wrong answer based on rules from Monster Manual 14: Prehistoric Invertebrates.
NOTE: Some e-mail clients aren’t able to submit your quiz answers to the website. If you’re reading this from an e-mail subscription you should head to Dungeon Mastering to take the quiz.

Um, Kord is Chaotic Good. Not evil last time I checked.
Isn’t Kord a non-evil god also? I thought he was CG….
crap missed above comment

Astounding! Almost perfect! Your score is so good you should use it in a pickup line!
My best yet! yeah me
And this is straight from the PHB: “Kord, the god of strength, is chaotic good. He is known as the Brawler. Kord is the patron of athletes, especially wrestlers. His worshipers include good fighters, barbarians, and rogues. The domains he is associated with are Chaos, Good, Luck, and Strength. Kord’s favored weapon is the greatsword.”

More than perfect! Impressive! Aren’t you glad you gave up on your social life?”

Fortunately, I saw the previous comments about Kord, so I picked the *other* non-evil deity. However, Kord is a valid answer, and that bug needs to be fixed.
Kord isn’t evil! He’s chaotic good. I just checked both the PHB and the Dieties and Demigods books.
Uh.. yeah Kord. Chaotic Good.
Is it opposite day? :P
Or maybe you meant to ask which one is not Chaotic?
Ummm… Technically an ogre would take 3 rounds to move 100ft while squeezing, because he would be able to double move in every round right? So he would move 40ft per round? =X
I FHAIL!!!

looks like I screwed up 2 questions out of 10. Not bad.
I corrected the 2 erroneous answers. I might need a trivia editor

Congratulations! You are quite knowledgeable! Do you even need a PHB when you create a character?.

Gimmee a break, though… DMs don’t have to know the PHB, right?!?
It doesn’t change the answer, but in your example for #6 (gargantuan reach), Bulettes are Huge, not Gargantuan.
Geez. Definitely not my week. But don’t despair. A few people were gracious enough to volunteer as trivia editors.
The AC question is out of whack as well. Shield is a personal spell, so a dwarven fighter with no levels in an arcane spellcasting class cannot be under the effect of a shield spell.
I never said anything about no level in arcane spellcasting! :P
Another good option for a dwarven fighter with no spells would be a potion of Shield. Well worth the gold for anyone who doesn’t carry a real one.
60 not bad for me still prefer ADND.
