It smells good - the gnome stew is almost ready
Posted by Yax on April 25, 2008
It’s Friday afternoon and the whole Comcast network kills file transfer protocols and I can’t work. So I click on a few random links: RPGs, WotC, hockey, and…
Oh yeah! Not only is the name amazing (learn more about gnomes here) but I trust the guys behind Treasure Tables to deliver the goods, whenever they choose to start delivering.
Quiz ideas?
Are you a fan of the Sunday morning quizzes? Got any ideas and suggestions for quiz topics? Let me know.
A few random thoughts and shameless plugs
E from Geek’s Dream Girl has been cranking content like a madwoman while I was away.
Thanks to Dave from Critical Hits for enlightening me with some 4e knowledge - the CH guys are really on it.
I’m meeting up with the Chatty DM this week for a night of food, hockey, and maybe some cold ales.
Got 90 seconds to waste? Go to Cuddle Monsters. Over 35,000 cuddle battles have been waged already.
Vacations were great! I’m more tired now than when I left but I’m infinitely more relaxed. We didn’t get to play D&D though - the beach, the parties, and the beach parties kept us busy.

Yay, we’re looking forward to hold you for ranso… huh invite you over for dinner!
I hope the Habs will make it worth our while!
Yeah! I forgot that we are fighting for world domination!
As far as I know, Comcast has only been found to be interfering with BitTorrent.
In fact, I’d wager that FTP (file transfer protocol) is used so rarely and consumes such a small amount of bandwidth that they don’t even care.
Too bad Chatty’s hockey & ales party isn’t on the beach! It would be perfect! ;-)
I had forgotten about that… I still haven’t sent the paperwork! I was just being my average Evil Overlord here…
See ya tonight!
@E: Anytime you and your Geek beau decide to visit our little city, drop me a line and I’ll invite you for some lasagna too.
[...] want’s my recipe?) because tonight I have a special visitor! Extradited Montrealer and DMing blogger extraordinaire Yax is in town on vacation and I’ve invited him over for [...]
I just got back from a short vacation, or I would have caught this sooner — thanks for the link, Yax!
We’ll be launching in the next week or two with 10 authors, and I can’t wait to get back into the saddle.
Is that THE Martin? ;-)
Yes it is! Hurray!
