5 Character Concepts from Mythic Design (With Stat Blocks)

Written by Expy - Published on July 19, 2009

Mythic Design is a new RPG publisher with a purpose. I’ve been lucky enough to work with them on a project and I love what they have to offer.

In fact, I love their Adventure Art character concepts so much that I will buy both issues of the series to all new DM Tools premium members. Below you’ll find a few monster/NPC stat blocks I created with our online DM tools. They match characters from Adventure Art #1.

Here are a few character concepts, with stats: (note: all these monster cards are available in our public monster database

Meet Expy The Red Dragon

Expy is the mascot for DungeonMastering.com and the real mastermind behind Expy Games. He likes to hoard treasure, terrorize neighbors, burn down villages, and tell white dragon jokes..

No matter how fearful the legends claim dragons are, they always end up being defeated in 5 rounds by adventuring parties they encounter. That’s what dragons are – experience points for the heroes in your Dungeons & Dragon party. And this mascot is no different, hence the name Expy.

You need to add some code to set the foreground (i.e. text) color of those stat blocks as well. If read on an RSS reader (such as my LiveJournal friends page) where the default text color is white, the stat blocks are illegible.

  4. Morivado says:

Hey, noticed something about Echtilion; his Fight Dirty power is a Standard Minor action…?

  5. Yax says:

That’s a typo too. I meant just minor

I updated all the typos. Thanks for the feedback!
