Find RPG players and gamers near you

I tested out Nearby Gamers this morning.
NearbyGamers is for people who play RPGs, CCGs, TCGs, wargames, board games — any tabletop game where you need a live human on the other side of a table if you want to play.
Nearby Gamers has about 2500 members right now so it’s still a young project but it has great potential.
How it works
Joining is free. Upon subscribing, you choose your tags (the games you play). Then you can browse the ongoing looking-for-group discussions or start your own.
Google maps are integrated in the website but the map browsing area is small and the search logic is weird. For example when I searched for the keyword “Montreal” I got nothing. Nobody chose that word as one of their tag so I got no result. I had to search for D&D and then move the map over the Montreal area to find gamers.
Once I got used to the site interface everything was fine. Overall Nearby Gamers is a great tool and I recommend it to anyone looking for a game or an extra player.

Give the registry at Pen & Paper Games a try. I think you’ll like it.
