The D&D Nerd

Did you notice that the title isn’t A D&D nerd but The D&D nerd. I found the nerd’s website this week-end and I very much enjoyed it. He writes about D&D in a way that is similar to mine but he’s a nerd and I’m more of a geek. There’s a nuance there. Anyhow, check out dndnerd.com. If you like this website you’ll enjoy his.

Meet Expy The Red Dragon
Expy is the mascot for DungeonMastering.com and the real mastermind behind Expy Games. He likes to hoard treasure, terrorize neighbors, burn down villages, and tell white dragon jokes..
No matter how fearful the legends claim dragons are, they always end up being defeated in 5 rounds by adventuring parties they encounter. That’s what dragons are – experience points for the heroes in your Dungeons & Dragon party. And this mascot is no different, hence the name Expy.

Thanks for the plug! :)
Though I don’t necessarily say that I’m the nerd on the site. But then again, the email I use I guess could cause one to assume that… >.>

What do you say is the difference between a geek nd nerd??
Geek: A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.
Nerd: An intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit.
There a nuance there.
