    I remember the first time I encountered a mimic. Goodbye, suspension of disbelief.

  2. Yes those blasted things were everywhere too. My characters spent more time poking boxes, chests, doors with his short sword long before he would ever try to check for traps or, lord forbid, pick a lock.

    Funniest thing I remember was the party chasing one down as it ran off with my Halflings two feet sticking out of its mouth kicking and flailing with me screaming “Make it let go!! Make it let go!!” :D

    Oh dear, those pesky trapped chests can be such a bother. I say we nuke em all from orbit, its the only way to be sure. :)

    if theres ever anything in a room crates, boxes, rugs, anything my charachters searchs it, time for a mimic
